It is not a big deal for example if you get $1000 from bank, ifyou need to pay within 6 months,at that time you should pay and close it in 5 months so you will get more credit score.

True, but your credit report depends upon your credit history. So how do we actually improve our credit score? What can we do?

Paying on time, paying off credit cards that do not have high dollar amounts left on them, calling the companies and asking for lower interest rates so this is possible, and keeping credit cards open and not closing them.  These are good ways to get some points back onto your credit score.  good luck.

Yes, when I paid off one of my credit cards my credit score went up and I left it open.  This is a good idea to help increase your credit score.

We can always be assured that our credit score is what we make it.  We can destroy it by being negligent or keep it in good standings by paying on time and being responsible with our spending.  If we know that we can not pay for it then we should not be using it unless we have a plan that helps us with that like having to pay it off within the first pay period.

Most of what every one is saying is correct.  You do have to work at having a good score and make poor choices to really bring it down.  I know that if you get caught in to much credit debt it will be hard to pay off because of the interest.  Good luck
