I am an American, but I would consider my interests to be more universal than the next Yankee and Southerner. When will my fellow Americans learn that Cricket is not just an insect and cell phone company, football is not played with pads, and that the NFL should be renamed TSRL (the sissy rugby league)? Also, unlike most, I feel that the ECW (formerly WWF) gives the honest sport or wrestling a bad name, and should not be called wrestling (though I do still consider it a physical and challenging sport, even if scripted).

sissie huh? I'd like to see how far you last at an NFL camp. As for cricket, it just never got popular here due to the baseball alternative, the great American pastime. It is even on the decline, so I do not think Cricket will ever take off here.

Wow, we should not get so blunt about our opinions but yes baseball is an AMerican pasttime and cricket just will not be the American sport.  I do agree that the WWF should not be considered wrestling because my son wrestles and every time I tell someone that he is into wrestling they say Oh all that fake stuff.  Well, no!!!!!!!!

Well I do agree that the WWF is in its own league but not wrestling.  I find that WWF is all for entertainment and is obviously planned from the start who is going to win.  I think that is just crazy.

Cricket will never be a huge US sport but I believe that each country has it's own popular sports and pushing them on others is not the best way to go.

American football is a tough sport, I just don't think that Cricket will get as popular in US as it is other places.  Not knocking the sport it just has not got big.  Soccer is the sport known around the world and in the US it is not one of the most popular.  The fake wrestling is crazy and I have never watched it and don't encourage it.

Can't see Cricket taking off in the US. Don't see professional football being dethroned as the favorite even if there is a lockout next year.

WWF? Surely you jest!
