Any good or service for personal, family, or
household purposes are covered under the FDCPA. The purchase does not have to be on a credit card, nor does it have to be a judgement debt, infact, several judgments are not covered,such as tort claims, past-due
child support, alimony, and other support payments. Thee are not considered
debt under the FDCPA.

So what exactly does this protect? I don't totally understand it.  Would love some more information on it.  THanks.
