Cutting Credit Card Costs
Making a purchase with a card will increase the amount you pay in the range of credit card costs, therefore you do your best to lower these expenses. This can happen when you have kept a clean credit history and as such making you eligible for great deals on your cards.
But this situation doesn’t apply to everyone as not all of the credit card holders have kept their credits in good order. A quick search among the credit applicants will show a big difference of results between the good credit applicants and the bad credit applicants. The bad credit individuals have cards they are allowed to apply for, but the terms are more than ridiculous.
Many of them have limits of $250 to $300 that are grabbed from the first month setting up for fees that are related to these sorts of cards. One example goes like this: Processing fee $28.00; program fee $85.00; annual fee $55.00; servicing fee $94.00; additional card $20.00.
Set up the account – Some creditors present an annual rate of interest stabilized at 9.5% while others had the annual rate of interest of 55.9% (that’s all correct, it is not a typo!) and yet they say it out loud without any shame – after all, you have other choices in case you are not comfortable with this one!.
What is available to you and how do you benefit from the circumstances? You must find a card with no annual fee within the search engine option and as such you will find a richness of results. Finding a no annual fee card is to keep your credit costs very close to zero, as much as it is possible, of course.
Having issued a no fee card you should do the following things:
- Use the card only for those purchases that you are able to pay for when the statement will be released at the end of the month. In this way you will reach to the benefit of avoiding the interest charges on the purchases that you make.
- In case you can not pay the balance in full, then do not put it on the card. This one has to be a tough and fast rule with no exceptions. You have to realize that the interest rate that is associated with the credit card proves to be meaningless as you will never pay for it.
- If you can combine these two things, the card with no annual fee and wise use of it, you will reduce the credit card costs to nothing. The card will be used merely as a convenient tool and as such keep the outstanding credit rating that has allowed you to be qualified from the very beginning.
